Jill Sanguinetti
Jill Sanguinetti grew up in the Victorian country town of Kyabram and went to Methodist Ladies’ College as a boarder from 1958 – 1961. After years as a teacher in schools, community centres and TAFE colleges, her passion for teaching led her to undertake a PhD in adult education policy and pedagogy. She spent 10 years lecturing and researching in the School of Education at Victoria University. Now in retirement, she tells the story of her own secondary school years with honesty, hilarity and sharp critical insight. Jill divides her time between inner-city Melbourne and a bush retreat at Marysville where she is involved in the struggle for forests.
